If you haven't done it, it's time to pay your dues once again. Please download the Membership Form from the website, located HERE, fill it out and bring it along with you to pay your dues at the next meeting. If you can't make the meetings, just mail it in.
You can also use the PayPal button and pay your dues online, but we still need the Membership Form.
Each meeting we have a raffle for valuable prizes and the money earned goes to offset the cost of the musician. If anyone has a "valuable prize" to donate for us to the raffle, please bring it to the meeting and give it to one of the Club Officers. Oh, and buy plenty of raffle tickets to help pay for the live music!

Sept. 22, 2018 - Cystic Fibrosis Walk - 8 am
Our next Community Involvement project will be the Cystic Fibrosis Foundationís Great Strides event. The 1 mile walk will be on Saturday, September 22nd at Walnut Grove. Here is the link to our Great Strides Team page. If each PCPHC member donated $10.00. We would raise $1,500.00. I know we can do that!
The walk starts at 9:00am. if you are planning to attend, please be there at 8:00 am and wear any PCPHC T-shirt you have. It would be great to have a strong showing. Please consider donating to our walking team; or better yet, consider joining our walking team.
Sept. 27, 2018 - Meeting at Coolers - NOTE: 4th Thursday! - Musician: J.D. Edge
JD Edge is a fiddle playing country front man out of Clinton, South Carolina and is a member of the nationally touring country/southern-rock group Southern Drawl Band. He started playing the fiddle at the age of three years old, and was reading music before he could read. Edge has been influenced by many of the country and southern rock legends such as Charlie Daniels and the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band. Mike Kuhl, a co-writer of JD's, claims: "JD Edge is the best melody writer that I have ever had the privilege of working with. He refuses to put limitations on his creativity, which makes his music accepted by a broad range of listeners from many different genres."

Brad Broussard will once again entertain us from 8-11 pm. We will be providing chili and world famous Daren Dogs for the members, but ask that you bring an appetizer to share.
We will also be collecting Toys for Tots.
Nov. 15, 2018 - Meeting at Coolers - Musician: Mark Mireles
For those not familiar with the name, Mark Mireles is the steel drum player for Jerry Diaz and Hannah's Reef and he also has his own band, The Tropicats. https://www.facebook.com/marktmireles/. He is finally stepping out into a solo artist career in addition to playing with Hannas Reef.
Mark has recorded percussion and guitar parts with numerous artists over the past 12 years. He has written and arranged music for several colleges across the country and continues to do so today.
In 1994 Mark learned how to play the Steel Drums (or Pan as it is known in the Islands) and immediately garnered a position teaching the Pan in several high schools and colleges in the Houston, Texas area.
We will also collect for Toys for Tots at the meeting.
